Payments technology provider linked2pay said Monday (April 18) that its Bank Centric Payments platform has been integrated with Chargent, the processing solution included in the Salesforce AppExchange. Chargent has been live since 2009.
In a press release, linked2pay noted that this payments gateway is geared toward both B2B and B2C merchants and can be used across ACH and credit card transactions.
Chargent Payment Processing, which was created by AppFrontier, is billed as the “only 100 percent Salesforce native” solution that can be used across both payment types and focuses on one-time transactions, or recurring billing motifs. Customer data that is determined to be nonsensitive is kept where that data is already stored and can, according to linked2pay, improve payments and back-end business functions, while operating across a single platform, known as AvidiaPay.
According to the release, Bank Centric Payments offers Chargent users security and fraud prevention features that satisfy PCI compliance, tokenization and encryption and NACHA guidelines.
In a statement by Cliff Thompson, vice president of business development and payment solutions at Avidia Bank, the executive said: “Our approach with AvidiaPay has been to offer innovative solutions that are ideal for organizations looking to instantly improve their payment acceptance; the integration with Chargent makes that innovation easy for Salesforce users to leverage.”
Separately, Richard McShirley, CMO at linked2pay, said: “The bank [ODFI] gains a payments technology platform that delivers the control and efficiency needed to scale underwriting, onboarding and the daily clearing of payment transactions.”
