Dr Cristina Caffarra is the Vice President and Head of European Competition Practice, Charles River Associates Brussels. She is an expert in the application of modern industrial organization to competition law at, and in the empirical analysis of markets in the context of competition investigations. She has provided economic advice to companies on issues of merger control, assessment of vertical restraints, finding of dominance, evaluation of abusive conduct, collusion, damages and state aid. She has extensive experience of working on competition issues in the media and energy sectors. She was previously a Director at Lexecon Ltd.
