However, behind the scenes, away from the public eye and regulatory scrutiny, the pursuit of an immersive digital reality continues unabated across the globe. Various companies are fervently investing in and developing initiatives related to augmented and virtual realities, as well as XR technologies, spanning industries from fashion to healthcare. Among these pioneers stands Metaverse Platforms, previously known as Facebook.
Historically, public policymakers have struggled to keep pace with regulating new technologies, often reacting only after they have already become mainstream, potentially causing disruptions to societal norms and established regulations.
