Chilean companies Andean, Embonor and Coca Cola Chile announced the purchase of 100% of Comercializadora Novaverde – owned by Inversiones Siemel. The company is dedicated to the processing and marketing of fruits, ice cream and vegetables. mainly under the Guallarauco brand.
The operation is subject to the authorization of the National Economic Prosecutor’s Office (FNE). In addition, the exit of Novaverde from some businesses was included within the conditions for sale.
In a statement, Coca Cola said that the purchase “will complement the product portfolio with which Coca-Cola is present in Chile,” consisting in various nectars, frozen fruit treats and vegetables.
