Global law firm Goodwin announced today that David Cross and Mary Kaiser have joined the firm’s Antitrust & Competition practice as partners, based in the Washington, D.C. office.
David Cross is a trial lawyer who represents domestic and multinational companies in litigation, including class actions. He specializes in antitrust and competition, intellectual property and commercial litigation. Cross practices antitrust enforcement, including the interplay of competition laws and emerging technologies like AI tools, online marketplaces and big data monetization. He has represented corporate clients in federal and state courts, arbitrations and government investigations, and advises on various antitrust compliance issues.
Mary Kaiser represents domestic and multinational companies in antitrust litigation, including claims of price fixing, monopolization, group boycotts and refusals to deal, and handles antitrust counterclaims in intellectual property cases. Kaiser also advises clients on a wide range of antitrust compliance issues, including pricing strategies and the Robinson-Patman Act. Her experience spans industries including media, software and consumer products.
Goodwin has expanded their global antitrust platform in recent years, reaching to new industries poised for regulation and enforcement. “David and Mary are highly accomplished trial lawyers with a wealth of experience and a proven track record in antitrust litigation, particularly in disciplines where Goodwin has a strong bench and capabilities — intellectual property, technology and M&A” said Caroline Bullerjahn, Co-Chair of Goodwin’s Complex Litigation & Dispute Resolution practice.
