Deputies in Mexico’s lower house of Congress aligned with left-wing party MORENA have called on the country’s communications regulator, IFT, for greater actions in supervising and verifying the application of antitrust laws, with particular attention directed to market leaders Telcel and Móvistar.

To do this, it must create the conditions for effective competition in these service sectors” Ms. Cuata Dominguez concluded.
