Peru: Congressional commission to draft M&A rules announced

Peru’s congress has announced it will form a special commission to evaluate the way to regulate business Mergers and Acquisitions, in order to prevent possible negative effects to the market and to free competition which may harm consumers and users. The commission will be formed under the responsibility of the Economy Commission, led by Vice-President Mercedes Araoz.
