Digital River SMB Solution Expands to U.K.

eCommerce service provider Digital River, Inc. announced that it has expanded its SMB Payments solution, which offers “turn-key access to credit card processing capabilities,” to the U.K., according to a company release. The solution accepts Visa, MasterCard, and Maestro card payments in Euros and Pound Sterling, and is already being used by 17,000 merchants and partners in Canada.

    The expansion follows a recent integration of Digital River with ecommerce platform provider Volusion. Due to the integration, owners of Volusion e-shops will now be able to launch online card processing capabilities in the U.K.
