Corporate bill pay solution Bill.com announced new integrations into corporate accounting platforms on Wednesday (July 27), while it also rolled out support for automated and mobile features.

In an announcement, Bill.com said it can now integrate and synchronize its data within existing cloud-based tools, including Xero and NetSuite. These integrations also expand to expense reporting software Tallie, the firm said.

“To stay competitive and profitable, accounting and bookkeeping firms increasingly rely on a platform that is based in the cloud and extended with mobile apps to introduce efficiency and reduce costs,” said Bill.com Senior Director of Channels and Alliances Bob Lewis in a statement.

Bill.com elaborated on some of the particular features of its integrations, including enabling Tallie to send employee reimbursements from expose reports directly into Bill.com, as well as automated data sync to keep financial information up-to-date across platforms.

At the same time, Bill.com introduced enhancements to its automated capabilities.

They include automatic reminders sent to suppliers to accept a digital payment, data entry from invoice into the portal and daily reports of the documents processed via Bill.com

Finally, Bill.com introduced its mobile app earlier this month to help business users encourage their suppliers to onboard to the Bill.com network and receive electronic payments.

According to Lewis, all of these features enable accounting professionals to “offer a variety of services, while still focusing on the important strategic insight clients need.”

“Accounts receivable and accounts payable have traditionally demanded complicated, highly manual efforts, especially when it comes to payment,” the executive said. “Bill.com began a decade ago with the mission to simplify business payments. Our new release supports that mission and introduces sophisticated and time-saving features that help the growth and success of firms.”
