Oro, maker of OroCommerce, the B2B eCommerce platform, will debut a live demo Tuesday (April 5) at 11 a.m. EDT of its OroMarketplace Long Term Support version, which will add new features, a press release said.

The release says marketplaces now make up 62% of online sales. OroMarketplace adds adaptable infrastructure and comprehensive features that B2B merchants need.

The capabilities will include vendor management and onboarding workflows, and streamlined digital tools to let vendors get to selling quickly.

There is product upload and approval, which add clear processes for operators and vendors, to help vendors out with preparing for marketplace selling and transparently managing products. And order splitting will add automated organization and order-tracking tools.

There will also be seller widgets and reports which will add continuous insights into vendor and product performance.

Yoav Kutner, Oro CEO, said. “With this live demo, we’ll walk stakeholders in the B2B, B2G, and B2X spaces through OroMarketplace’s powerful new features, and let them see for themselves how our powerful open-source solution can upgrade their marketplace operations.”

PYMNTS wrote in 2021 that Oro was rolling out its OroMarketplace as of April that year. The release said OroMarketplace would involve features for various marketplace categories or functions, helping businesses get to market faster and integrate more.

The report says the market is flexible and can support varying business sizes. It would be able to work with B2B, B2C, business-to-government (B2G), franchise network ordering, services procurement, bookings and physical markets.

The marketplace was the way the company was looking to provide B2B commerce companies to get new kinds of software.
