One of the participants in one of the biggest payments megadeals to date has made recent gains — a good sign for all the changes on deck for 2019. Meanwhile, another major eCommerce player, this one focused on food, took a step back this week — at least according to some measures — in a reminder that the market can be unforgiving. Further gains came from the area of international payments – though when it comes to global transactions, even the newer, smaller ones that are gaining steam, criminals are making inroads there as well.
