Accounts receivable (AR) automation firm Invoiced is integrating payment processing functionality through a collaboration with Chase and WePay.
In a press release on Wednesday (Dec. 4), Invoiced announced the launch of Invoiced Payments, which will allow businesses that invoice their customers on the platform to more seamlessly settle those bills with a customer payment portal. The solution supports credit and debit card transactions, as well as ACH.
Invoiced pointed to streamlined customer onboarding, fee transparency, PCI compliance and integration as key benefits for users and their own business clients.
“At Invoiced, our entire purpose is to make billing and collections efficient, effective and easy,” said Invoiced Co-founder and CEO Jared King in a statement. “By offering Invoiced Payments powered by Chase, we are able to provide the most comprehensive integrated AR and payments solution available to businesses.”
JPMorgan Chase’s integrated payments business, WePay, will enable the payments processing integration. In another statement, WePay VP of Marketing Jennifer Lewis said, “Small businesses want to concentrate on growing their businesses, but often get bogged down with backend operations that take a lot of their time. Through our partnership with Invoiced, we are excited about the availability of Invoiced Payments, which addresses some of these challenges.”
Invoiced Payments is now available for U.S. and Canadian users of Invoiced paid accounts, the company said.
Earlier this year, Invoiced added a recurring payment feature to its AR automation platform, allowing businesses to support subscription billing for their customers with data analytics and customer onboarding support. At the time, the company added other features, including a cash forecasting module designed for chief financial officers and treasurers, as well as access management capabilities to allow managers to dictate who is able to view and edit a range of actions within the portal.
“With our new capabilities for subscription billing, cash forecasting and access management, we’re stepping up to address the challenges and AR acceleration opportunities raised by our increasingly diverse and sophisticated customer base,” King said in a statement at the time.
