Roadz has beta launched its Unified Fleet Workspace, a generative artificial intelligence (AI)-powered fleet management solution aimed at helping commercial fleets optimize their operations.
Commercial fleet operators with at least 100 vehicles under management can apply to participate in the beta program, the fleet-tech company said in a Monday (Feb. 5) press release.
Roadz plans to integrate generative AI capabilities into the Unified Fleet Workspace, enabling fleet managers to ask questions about their fleet operations using natural language, according to the release. This integration, which is expected to be announced in March, will provide actionable insights based on unified fleet data, facilitating effective decision-making.
This fully integrated, cross-application workspace will also use generative AI to address the challenge of fragmented data from multiple applications, the release said.
Traditionally, fleet managers have had to navigate through various third-party applications, each with its own separate data structure and portal, per the release. Nearly half of fleets currently use more than 10 different fleet management solutions.
However, with the Roadz Unified Fleet Workspace, fleet managers can access an integrated view that provides a comprehensive understanding of their fleet’s performance, the release said. This integrated approach enables fleet managers to make smarter decisions, reduce costs and enhance productivity, safety and compliance.
The Roadz Unified Fleet Workspace is also available to solution providers who can white label the solution and offer it to their fleet customers, per the release.
This flexibility allows for a seamless user experience and empowers fleet managers to access actionable insights from a single platform, eliminating the need for multiple dashboards and fragmented information, according to the release.
The trucking industry is undergoing a significant transformation driven by the digitization of supply chain and logistics processes, PYMNTS reported in July. In response to this evolution, companies are launching innovative solutions to modernize fleet management and enhance efficiency.
In another recent development in this space, FinTech company AtoB said Monday that it will roll out the AtoB Mastercard. This card is tied to an open network that allows truckers to track and pay for fuel, set spending limits where applicable and access discounts.
