Coinbase Launches New Tools to Drive Education in the Crypto Circle

Coinbase

Coinbase is rolling out new tools to help its cryptocurrency community learn more, share what they know, and be more involved with the educational effort, according to a press release emailed to PYMNTS on Friday (Nov. 12).

“Many of our customers are looking for ways to better understand crypto both as an investment and as an app platform, but it can sometimes be challenging to find relevant information at the right time,” according to Coinbase.

“We want to help self-empower the community with easy-to-use sharing tools, making it simpler and more fun to share information on your portfolio allocations or key crypto topics such as emerging new assets,” per the press release.

Adding to the educational tools Coinbase already offers, the new solutions will enable users to easily share information with their private network about their holdings by tapping the Share button in the Coinbase app. The Share button can be used on any asset or portfolio page. Allocation percentages are shared, not a user’s portfolio balance.

Users have the option of changing their share settings or discontinuing sharing altogether by selecting Share and toggling to Private, according to the release. People can switch back and forth between private and sharing whenever they want. Coinbase also has plans in the works to launch additional learning and sharing solutions.

“We want to empower the cryptoeconomy to share knowledge and information and learn from each other. In the coming weeks, we’re launching new ways for you to share details about your trades,” Coinbase said in the statement.
