What’s top of mind for consumers right now is how and where to save some dollars at the register.
The most recent PYMNTS Provider Ranking of Coupon Apps shows that when it comes to discounts, two retail brands are at the head of the class: CVS Pharmacy and Dollar General.
Interestingly, these are the places where, when it comes to online or brick-and-mortar shopping, discretionary goods are among the items that wind up in the basket. For many consumers, these discounting apps may be an aid in getting the health and beauty items, clothing and incidentals that are part of everyday life beyond necessities like food, shelter and transportation.
