To help trucking firms expand their businesses, Pilot Company and RTS Financial (RTS) have teamed up for a fuel and factoring partnership. The firms will work in tandem to offer tailored fleet offerings, according to a Monday (Jan. 11) announcement.
Dedicated Pilot Company and RTS personnel will work with fleets to offer funding, fuel and key services. Fleets of different sizes will have the ability to simplify their business with Pilot Company’s cross-network collection of fuel discounts, credit, truck repair and loyalty perks with RTS’ advance rates and same-day funding offerings, according to the announcement.
Pilot Company CEO Shameek Konar said in the announcement that the company is concentrated on offerings that provide “savings, efficiency and convenience” to the fleets that it serves.
“We’re thrilled to partner with a highly regarded provider like RTS to offer an integrated service solution for factoring and fuel that helps trucking companies access the resources they need to succeed and grow,” Konar said in the announcement.
Clients will be helped with back-office services to simplify documentation, account and sales representatives that speak multiple languages, a bolstered Pilot Company client portal to handle fuel accounts, and a mobile and web account management and credit analysis through RTS Pro. They will also receive access to over 1,000 fueling locations throughout the One9 Fuel Network and the Pilot Flying J Travel Center network, according to the announcement.
“Through this partnership, RTS and Pilot Company will be able to provide even greater value to the trucking industry,” said Bill Ryan, founder and CEO of Shamrock Trading Corporation, parent company of RTS. “Together, we’re excited to help trucking companies grow their businesses so they can provide for their families, stay on the road and enhance their operations.”
The news comes as CarrierHQ in August teamed with Comdata for a new service offering that will give carriers access to Comdata’s OnRoad Card, letting them access new offerings for funds and fueling.
