Deliveroo UAE is rolling out a rapid grocery delivery service called Deliveroo Hop, a store that in partnership with retailer Choithrams will offer deliveries in as little as 15 minutes, a press release said.
The service will rely on a “deep integration” of Deliveroo’s grocery management tech, its logistics algorithms and its network of delivery riders around the United Arab Emirates.
The company says Deliveroo Hop orders will only be accepted within a definite radius from the warehouse so that the deliveries can be quick. The partnership with Choithrams allows for a wider product range, including higher quality fresh food, shelf-stable foods, personal care, pet care and more.

Deliveroo has said there could be trouble on the horizon for its business, PYMNTS wrote.
The report said that in Deliveroo’s model profitability comes at the expense of growth, and keeping drivers and consumers is essential.
Deliveroo said in April that consumer behavior could moderate during the rest of the year, coming down from the highs earlier in the pandemic. Inflation and its impact on consumer spending, along with the easing of pandemic concerns, are expected to hinder the growth of delivery services.
This comes as Deliveroo has been seeing temperate growth, with the value of global orders growing by 12% to £1.7 billion.
