Syracuse University’s Carrier Dome To Take Only Cashless Payments
Syracuse University on Wednesday (Aug. 25) introduced several cashless payment methods for fans to buy concessions and merchandise at Orange football games starting this fall, Syracuse.com reported.
Fans will be able to use Apple Pay, Android Pay and Google Wallet mobile payment services and major credit and debit cards as part of Syracuse’s campus-wide efforts to simplify the concession and merchandise-buying process and reduce the potential spread of COVID-19.
Cash will no longer be accepted at Carrier Dome concession stands, merchandise areas or the ticket office. This transition to cashless payments follows Syracuse’s recent switch to mobile ticketing for all athletic events at the Carrier Dome this season through fans’ MyCuse accounts.
