There’s a bunch of new deals coming to Ibotta, the shopping app that claims it’s “better than coupons.”
Groupon, Jet.com and Drizly have all announced they are joining the app, which gives users cash back when they make in-store purchases.
According to Internet Retailer, Ibotta now features links to content from Groupon, online marketplace Jet.com and alcohol delivery service Drizly.
Ibotta offers consumers discounts when they purchase products from the retailer’s own website after accessing it through the Ibotta app.
The app has been downloaded more than 18 million times and currently ranks 17th out of shopping apps on the Google Play Store, according to Internet Retailer.
“We hope that the offer [on the Ibotta app] incentivizes users to give Jet.com a try and rewards our loyal customers for shopping on the Jet app,” Lauren Picasso, associate marketing director at Jet.com, told Internet Retailer.
Launched in 2012, Ibotta has rewarded users with over $110 million in cash rebates since then and has raised $73 million in funding.
“Drizly is available in 24 markets across the U.S. and Canada and is quickly expanding to new markets every month, which means we need to stay ahead of the curve when it comes to finding new ways to market our platform to consumers,” Drizly CEO and Cofounder Nick Rellas told Internet Retailer about its collaboration with Ibotta.
