To help kick off Amazon Prime Day, Pampers and singer Ne-Yo have teamed up with March of Dimes to help out a very special part of the population.
For anyone who subscribes to Pampers on Amazon’s site and makes a Prime Day order, Pamper’s parent company Procter & Gamble will donate $10 to the March of Dimes specifically to support families with premature babies in the neonatal intensive care units.
Customers can also visit Procter & Gamble’s Facebook page for a chance to talk with Ne-Yo in a Facebook Live video session. The singer will be on the company’s Facebook page talking with consumers for a few hours starting at 9 AM on July 11.
Procter & Gamble’s North America baby care brand director, Andrea Zahumensky, commented on this offering to Adweek and shared how the event will promote its message of healthy babies.
“We want to connect with shoppers in a meaningful way this Prime Day, so we chose a platform that would allow us to interact in real time,” Zahumensky said. “The Facebook Live broadcast will be shareable content that is meant to engage with moms and dads and have them laughing, crying and getting inspired to join in on our mission to care for the happy, healthy development of every baby.”
