Nordstrom is making holiday shopping less stressful by offering early-bird pickup and round-the-clock curbside service.

From December 3 through 24, shoppers can come to any Nordstrom store starting at 8 a.m. to pick up Buy Online & Pick Up in Store purchases, utilizing curbside services. And while the retailer offers Curbside Pickup year-round, from December 16 through 24 customers will be able to pick up their items 24 hours a day, seven days a week in 23 select Nordstrom stores across the U.S.

“The retail landscape is evolving faster than ever before,” Shea Jensen, Nordstrom’s senior vice president of customer experience said, according to USA Today. “In order to meet the needs of our customers, we need to adapt and find new ways to offer them the experiences and service they’re looking for. These efforts are really centered around the ideas of personalization, speed and convenience.”

Nordstrom will also feature “Gift Scouts” in more than 65 stores to provide expert gift-shopping recommendations. Customers can book appointments in-store or online. For the first time, all holiday gifts will be available in the Nordstrom Gift Hub in more than 65 stores, with gift recommendations organized by customer personalities. Shoppers will also be able to scan QR codes in the Gift Hub to get additional recommendations through Nordstrom.com.

And in addition to its complimentary silver boxes, Nordstrom will offer gift-wrapping services in more than 70 stores, with four custom-designed wrapping papers for $5 per package.

In May it was revealed that the department store had reported better-than-expected first-quarter earnings, with earnings per share of 51 cents and revenues of $3.47 billion, compared to 44 cents and $3.46 billion. The retailer delivered total sales growth of 5.8 percent, but the company also saw an 18 percent increase in sales enabled through digital capabilities compared to the previous year.

“Our first-quarter results reflected our ongoing efforts to integrate our digital and physical assets to serve customers in new and relevant ways. Our overall sales performance was in line with our expectations,” Co-President Blake Nordstrom said at the time.
