SentinelOne and Pax8 have expanded their existing partnership to deliver more artificial intelligence (AI)-powered security solutions to small and medium-sized businesses (SMBs).

The expanded relationship will allow them to provide more endpoint, identity and cloud security offerings to SMBs, the companies said in a Tuesday (Nov. 28) press release.

“No business is immune to cyberattacks, and regardless of their size, companies need leading-edge technology to detect and prevent them,” SentinelOne Chief Operating Officer Vats Srivatsan said in the release. “In deepening our long-standing ties, SentinelOne and Pax8 can arm SMBs with an expanded set of AI security solutions they can use to automatically defend their environments and secure their future.”

SentinelOne’s AI security solutions and Pax8’s marketplace for technology solutions have already been collaborating for more than four years, according to the release.

With the new multi-year agreement, SentinelOne will leverage Pax8’s eCommerce platform to offers SMBs a new click-to-buy option that will make it faster and easier for them to adopt new security solutions, the release said.

In addition, under the agreement, Pax8 will expand its service offerings to include SentinelOne’s cloud, identity and other related modules, in addition to the endpoint security product it already offers, per the release. Pax8 is also committed to accelerating the adoption of SentinelOne solutions among its partner base.

“SentinelOne is one of our largest and fastest-growing partners,” John Street, CEO, chairman and founder of Pax8, said in the release. “We are excited about our expanded relationship, which will create greater value for our partners, and support small businesses in fortifying their security posture.”

PYMNTS Intelligence has found that 95% of eCommerce businesses either already are, or plan to, give their fraud defenses a boost.

They are doing so at a time when bad actors are getting more sophisticated in their attacks, according to “Fraud Management, False Declines and Improved Profitability,” a PYMNTS and Nuvei collaboration.

As a result of these increasingly sophisticated attacks, eCommerce businesses are facing a significant challenge in providing their customers with a seamless digital experience while also ensuring the highest levels of security and revenue protection, the report found.
