Tabi Connect partnered with Blue Yonder to make it easier for shippers and carriers to connect.
By bringing together Tabi Connect’s rate management system and Blue Yonder’s Dynamic Pricing Discovery solution, Tabi Connect can enable its customers to use that solution with only the shippers they choose to work with, the companies said in a Wednesday (Dec. 13) press release.
“Tabi Connect enables brokers and carriers with the control to automate and respond to only the quotes they want in real time, bringing comfort to the shippers that the rates received will be honored,” Scott Hadley, vice president of partnerships at Tabi Connect, said in the release. “With the addition of the new Dynamic Pricing Discovery integration, customers can now scale their business with simpler and faster deployments.”
The Dynamic Pricing Discovery solution provides a digital experience for discovering real-time capacity, contract rates and booking carriers, according to the release. This improves and accelerates the management of operations that are traditionally manual and time consuming.
The new integration with Tabi Connect provides carriers and shippers with the real-time services and capacity network they need at a time of increased volatility in freight transportation, the release said.
“Connecting with Blue Yonder’s Dynamic Price Discovery provides Tabi Connect with a best-in-class offering that integrates with our [transportation management solution (TMS)] using [application programming interfaces (APIs)] to deliver dynamic pricing options along with much needed capacity to shippers,” Jeremy Duddlesten, vice president of logistics service providers at Blue Yonder, said in the release.
The news of this integration came a day after Blue Yonder said it added generative artificial intelligence capability to its range of supply chain solutions.
The new Blue Yonder Orchestrator helps companies make sense of their data and use it to make decisions more quickly and intelligently.
In November, Blue Yonder closed its previously announced acquisition of Doddle, a technology business focused on first- and last-mile logistics.
With that acquisition, Blue Yonder will add new capabilities to its logistics suite, with Doddle’s logistics management offerings being integrated into Blue Yonder’s suite of commerce and returns tools.
