FinTech company CSI has appointed NCR and FIS veteran Troy Bradley as chief technology officer (CTO).
In his new role, Bradley will lead CSI’s technology modernization strategy, aligning its network, security and software engineering initiatives and bringing to market a comprehensive financial services platform with a focus on open architecture, the company said in a Thursday (Dec. 7) press release.
Bradley joins CSI at a time when community banks are seeking solutions that they can integrate quickly to meet the evolving needs of their account holders in terms of payments, lending, commercial banking and deposits, David Culbertson, CEO and president of CSI, said in the release.
“Even more than that, they want open technology partners they can rely on and trust to deliver solutions at scale,” Culbertson said. “Troy has the mentality, experience and skillset to excel in meeting that challenge while aligning our team behind a strategic vision anchored in growth — not just for CSI, but for every one of our customers.”
Bradley previously served as corporate vice president and chief information and technology officer at NCR for three years, according to the press release. While there, he led the company’s payment solutions engineering and operations teams.
Before that, Bradley served as global CTO at FIS for seven years, leading corporate strategy and product innovation, the release said.
Earlier, he held roles as an independent consultant in financial services and as senior vice president and CTO at Metavante, per the release.
“I’ve spent my entire career in financial services working with and listening to community banks,” Bradley said in the release.
He added that while technology has changed over that time, banks have always wanted solutions that drive efficiency, offer flexibility and enable growth. They also want a partner that delivers innovations and builds lasting relationships.
“It’s clear to me that CSI is that partner — the comprehensive solutions provider that seeks to lead the industry’s evolution by prioritizing the needs of community banks above everything else,” Bradley said.
In another recent development, CSI teamed up with treasury management FinTech Dragonfly Financial Technologies to provide customers with enterprise-level business banking solutions.
